Purpose
Steel cord pull conveyor belt（also known as Steel cable belt 、PVL CABLE BELT、Steel cable driven conveyor belt）has special designed ear groove slots embedded on both sides of the conveyor belt, which mesh with two parallel running closed-loop steel wires (steel cables). The drive unit pulls the steel wire ropes, which, via friction or mechanical engagement, propel the belt and the material carried on it.Suitable for long-span and long-distance material transportation. Widely applied in the transportation of bulk materials in industries such as mining, ports, power, metallurgy, construction, and chemical engineering.

Characteristics
The conveyor belt is driven by steel cables; the belt itself does not bear the traction force but only the material load, offering high carrying capacity. It can handle both materials and personnel, making it well suited for large-span, long-distance material transport. Its advantages include minimal elongation, uniform tension, smooth operation, resistance to misalignment, small horizontal and vertical turning radii, low requirements for the installation environment, and easy replacement.

If a foreign object penetrates the belt and becomes lodged within the conveyor structure, it can tear the belt. When such an object interrupts the inductive circuit, the coil ceases to transmit a signal, and the receiver, unable to detect it, shuts down the conveyor drive. Additionally, when operating beyond its rated capacity, the sensor triggers an alarm and activates the emergency braking system, enabling early detection of potential incidents and minimizing losses.
